VISIT FROM MOM

Mom came from Illinois to visit for a week and each day we did something different -- from wandering through the new Whole Foods store to a 2 day visit to Virginia Tech to see Kate. Mom also enjoyed Kenny's football game against a rival school where she got to see him catch an interception from the opposing team and make a bunch of tackles as an inside linebacker. The weather was gorgeous and the leaves starting hitting their peak color right before she went home. Kenny and I loved having her!


While Jack was still the cool, calm dog he always is and a true charmer with Mom.... it was a rocky start for Molly. Of course, a 5 month old puppy that weighs 45 lbs can be a challenge getting to sit and calm down. Eventually they became good friends.....
